Hmm, I was always under the impression these were made by Wilsonia.
Was the one in the auction an actual Nasco item?  Huh

Either way, would love one too! But maybe not that much  Shocked

WAY over priced.
there is a VDO gauges man in sydney that repairs old guages (did my old smith gauges outta my mini , and the dash outta my prefect) , he is old and slow but really good. Sorry i forget the name of the place Sad

The guage is in fact Wilsonia & not Nasco - still VERY desirable - I would say you wont get one commercially for under $300. You may be lucky at a swap meet or garage sale. Ebay will see them going over $500 every time.

Nice score Philby.
I purchased 1 on ebay about 6 weeks ago for $325.
I had bid more than that on about 10 previous occasions and been beat out to a higher price.
Persistance paid off in the end.

Picked up one of these gauges yesterday and a couple of master cyls with the tins in usable condition. They both have 'Holden' on the bodies and the lettering around the top of the tins.
$40 the lot. Grin
