Good Morning All,

I have had a heater (Smiths) in my ute for a number of years now.I am in the process of replacing hoses and after your thoughts. My grey runs a ek+ head which has a attachment in the head for a heater hose. I run one hose to from the water pump and the other from the head. Is this ok or would I be better running one from the thermostat instead of the head.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers

Rod

I would run from the head as it will reach good heating temp sooner and be constant. the red motors etc run pre thermostat as do most other engines in most cars and also keeps pressure more constant. Hope this helps
