Is there a trick to un doing the stub axle from the backing plate & steering arm  Huh

The long bolt that appears to thread through both the stub axle & the steering arm won't budge  Tongue on either side assembly, the other 3 bolts on each side came out easily

I've tried WD40 & whacking them, don't want to be overly zealous in case they snap off

Any suggestions?

Gary

Gary, at the bottom there are 2 bolts - One threads into the stub axle and is usually undone quite easily. The other is longer and has a nut on the end. This one is not threaded into the stub axle and is removed by giving it a good solid hit. Rust can cause this bolt to become quite stuck.
