"Rip off" is how I'd describe some of the prices for models that are the same size as a Matchbox car  Tongue

I paid about the same for mine as classicfe, but I prefer the knock off FE version as it is an FE, where as  the Trax one as it is an FC

When you look at them side by side they appear to be very similar, although the badging reads incorrectly on the rear 1/4 panels and it has a full length bonnet spear, I am sure there are a few other things as well.

When I queried it's pedigree I was told by the Ebayer that it was part of a (TAXIS of the WORLD) set, so either they made a lot of sets, or FE Taxis are used all over the world! (I'd like to think the latter.

Produced by a company called Altaya, this car was part of a series of cars called Taxi's from around the world and was sold in Newsagents in Spain and France. Altaya is a Spanish based company and produce their cars through Ixo. Cars are made in China. Bit tough to call them a rip off from Trax though.
