Hi,
Found some early FC pictures thought others might like to see. Old slides or early Polaroid pics.

A family trip to the seaside approx 1963

My siblings in the family FC circa 1964 (5 kids/2 Adults and no seatbelts).

Family holiday - Stawell Vic? 1964

Another holiday (Duck Shooting) - Kerang ~1965

My brother bought the family FC in 1968 and repainted.

Family Holiday again, my brothers FC repainted, Dad's HD (ex taxi) and home made Caravan ~ 1968

My FE/FC - built from an FE & a FC, both heading for the tip but resurrected into one car. Parked outside my girlfriends house back in 1973...

More of my FC although around that time it became my girlfriend's car as I moved up to an EH... the good thing is that my girlfriend is still driving an FC (the green ute in my user profile on top left is hers) ... and has been my wife for more than 30 years  Smiley

I agree - some very nostalgic photos.  Must bring back some great memories for you and your wife.  The caravan looked great for a home made job - was it aluminium?

Nice pics Trevor.  The caravan is interesting in that it has the door on the right hand side.  The plans must have came from America.

Hi Keith,
Caravan door on right is likely due to me putting the slide in back to front  Undecided hence mirror image... never used a slide projector before so didn't notice that Wink

Kathi, yep, the Caravan was a home made job (Dad was too tight to pay anyone else for anything). Steel chassis, timber frame and aluminium sheet cladding. A great job that took us on many holidays, he used to sling that auto tent over the side to act like an annexe. Dad also bought ex taxi's because they were cheap and he could rebuild them easily.

Hi Trevor,

Great pictures, I love hearing of the stories behind the cars, makes great reading to have that personal touch.
