Hi All,
It seems most FE's and FC's have Lucas headlamps rather than Bosch. Why is this so? Or is it so? Why were the 2 types available? My curiosity has got the better of me. Help!!!

P.S. Lucas globes cost $2.50, while the Bosch ones around $23.00

Wherever possible GMH used 2 suppliers for parts which were not made in house.  There were some models which used only Bosch equipment but the sedans mostly used both suppliers.
