A few typos and a couple of small errors as such and the old pics I sent him didn't get in but it wasn't a bad effort all in all and I'm happy with it:

Grin Grin Grin Great write up despite a few little foo-pahs.  And a nice little international plug for the Nats too!  Wink  Surely that kinda advertising's gotta be worth an honorary entry to the event?  Cheesy

Oh and I particularly like the bit "is he mad?"  Wink

Great article - you've got to be happy with that.  Congratulations.

Will you be bulk purchasing copies of the magazine and making them available to forum members?

Cheers

Well it costs about $11 for the magazine and I have posted the article of interest. The rest is of local events, clubs, tractors, bikes etc. I can find out postage costs for you if you really want a copy.

I realise there are those among you who love to collect any and all FE/FC stuff and that you'd like a copy of the mag - no problem. I'm going to be getting a few copies to send to my family in Vic and if i know how many to get for forum members I can organise sending them over. I will just get the guys to post me a bulk order here at home and I can forward from here.

The other way is to order from the mag themselves:

http://www.irishvintagescene.ie/issues.cfm

It seems reasonable enough but it takes a few months for back orders to come up. Let me know and I'll do what I can to help.

So, adressing the letter to "Surferboy" worked then - did your postie have a good laugh at that?

I'm off soon to join the line of cars and tractors in the local parade...

Be thinking drinking of you all....

Speaking of tractors (just for you RET), just to show you a daily, common road user here in Ireland:

Meh, that's nothing  Roll Eyes it's when they are towing 5 metre wide harvesting equipment behind them on a two-lane road that the fun really starts, like they usually do around my way  Tongue

Actually, the good thing here is that the law says that if it is safe to do so pull over and drive on the hard shoulder and let faster traffic past. So, we don't get held up that much on those types of roads. That pic was about 500m from entering Waterford City so you don't get to get past so well in town.

During sowing and harvest, there are hundreds of ag contractors on the roads 24/7....
