Checked out the ID numbers of this FC and this colour is an original colour, Dominion Maroon.  It is a similar colour to mine.

About how much would this shell be worth? Any one know?

Since it appears to have good doors and guards this is a bonus. It would seem to be a fairly good buy at $550 but I guess more rust would appear as you started to look harder - probably in the bottoms of the A pillar and cross member underneath the front floor. It's location is a bit of a downer and will discourage buyers to a certain degree.
If at all possible I would try to look at it first before bidding, because it is so hard to judge something by looking at photos.
If I was in the market for a sedan shell - I guess I would go up to $900 / $1000 for it, but a visit to check it out would maybe convince me to go higher or lower.

Hope this somewhat vague response is of some help.

Saw this a couple of days ago and thought to myself, "Coolamon would be a good place for keeping a shell very dry..."

Not far from Wagga, but I suppose you have looked at a map.
