Hi guys thought I would share some shots of the 1/43rd (trax size ) models we are developing at Models56.
The rising costs of manufacturing in China is crippling our capacity to produce at the moment, so we are doing the sums in relation to building in Australia. Not sure where all this is leading but will keep you in the loop as news comes to hand. We will be asking some club members to inspect the patterns before they go into production so we get it right. I would very much like to here what colour combinations that you feel would be the most popular with collectors.
Hope to be able to put some more pictures up soon.
Regards
John

John,
Prototypes look good, except for rear window of ute that looks more like a Vanguard ute.
Cost: get the product right, and we will buy it.
I would prefer to pay a bit more for a model with good quality/detail.

One thing I have learnt is those guard spears are wrong on the ute.

I agree with Geoff - the detail has to be right - Note that ute doors are different to wagon sedan and van doors and make the side profile of the ute look totally wrong.

Good feed back guys, remember these are only prototypes and we will rely on good direction from members to get them right.

Not to be a smart arse but do you have either of those models a "model" to use? I am sure one of the members would be happy to bring one along for a photoshoot.....

Taking delivery of the wagon pattern tonight then it's off to Alex to write a list of changes and back to the pattern maker for re work. The ute is in the very early stages as the photos suggest.
