...Sorry I didn't print off this thread when I had the opportunity, as I remember being very impressed with the depth of knowledge.  I've got 5 recently welded and painted FC rims which are just about to have their new rubber mounted and balanced and then it occured to me that I've got a mix of valve stem diameters!  Oh, bugger! (as the commericial goes)

Although I vaguely recollect that it was March 19, 1959 which saw the change over, I can't remember which was which and can't quite make out the stamps inside the rims due to pitting and riveting.

Ken, if you're out there......
.....if not, does anyone recall the latter (since my ute is appx. Nov 1959)
