Ok, just revving folks up for Orange 2010.
Here's a few pics of the early days.
Warwick Farm 1961.

This is Gnoo Blas in Feb 1960. Pic of the pit area showing the sports cars, but check out the spectator cars over the road.

Another Gnoo Blas pit shot. FC sedan as tow car.
The D type Jag had road rego, how cool would that have been in the day.

This isn't touring cars, but rather Port Wakefield October '59 Gold Star meeting.
Check out that FE standard wagon sitting next to the starting grid.

Incase you want to know more about the racecars - Alec Mildren, #10 Cooper Climax and Keith Rilstone, #8 Zephyr Special.
This pic from Longford.

Regards
Alex

Whilst the photo's were inspiring, I hope the NSW club do not expect us wear our pants up that high and stand/walk around looking like Harry High Pants.

Great photos Alex, I have no idea were you find these I do a search or ten and come up with Sweet FA.

Cheers Jim

Hey Jim
You will be excused from the high pants if you are wearing 1 of those umbrella hats the guy in the background is sporting on his head.  Wink
