Hi Les,
I remember my "grandfathers cousin"  having one of the CARBEDS in his Mk 2  Zephyer , I don't know if "Travelrest" was GMH exclusive or an across the board item. Maybe someone can enlighten us.

(They picked the right car for the ad though heheh)

Looking at the terracotta colour 'bleed' on the windscreen stainless trim, you'd have to guess that the white roof is an error in the colourization process, and it was supposed to be beige like the front.  But it makes the for an unusual image.

That brown and cream FC wagon is just like the one my Dad owned when I was growing up. That scene in front of Parliament House is one that I remember many times from my childhood, whenever overseas visitors arrived. That car is the reason I too drive an FC.

The wagon featured in the magzine cover is the same color scheme as the wagon that i have in my garage the red like color is called "terraglo" and was usually as mine is with grecian white. My wagon is in original condition and i hope to get some pictures on the site soon.
