Here are some pictures of our latest addition - a 1959 Standard FC sedan.  It's Adobe Beige with a Terra Cotta Miami flash kit which I've never seen before.  All orginal - first registered 17th December 1959 and has travelled only 86,000 miles since then.  The plan is to leave it with that 'barn find' look and do all the mechanicals and use it on Club runs.  My eldest daughter has shown interest in an FE-FC, so I've promised it to her and we plan to work on the car together.  The car has only travelled 2,500 miles in the last 20 years and came with all the original purchase papers and accessory orders.  What a find!!

WOW!!
I wish that was on the trailer headed for my place.
That is an absolute gem.
How rare is that flash!!!
A standard FC is the perfect choice for that flash, as no extra chrome to get in the way.
Great colour combo.
Is the silver part of the flash a stainless insert or paint?
I hope to see it at Mt Gambier......please!!!!
A big CONGRATS on your new FC score.
Regards
Alex

ps. I agree, update the mechanicals and perhaps the bumpers, but leave the rest as it is......she's perfect.

Thanks Alex and FCcool,
Yes the silver part of the flash is stainless and will use parts of my blue & white FC origanal chrome and that way it will go with rest of the car not new but good. We will see about Mt. Gambier 5 in one FC is fun but in 2 FC even better.
Thanks again
 Tony.

It's amazing that something that looks so hot would be left in the shed for so many years and not driven around!!!

Wouldn't you just want to drive it!!

Great find Tony... congrats!

Cheers
