     Just a simple question.                        
     Does later model red motor fuel pumps bolt onto a grey?

Yes, they definitely fit.

I use the reverse setup, grey pump on a red motor without problems.

I've added a red motor fuel pump to my Grey.  I had to get a couple more bolts as the grey pump has about another 10mm "spacer" then the red does.  hence the bolts in the grey where to long.
