With the anniversary of the Sydney Harbour Bridge approaching, thought I would dig up a few pics from the National Archives site showing the kind of traffic we love on this forum.

What fabulous shots.  Can anyone spot their car in any of them? Keep digging them up for us Alex.
Cheers,

Hi Alex
Thnks again for the effort you go to in finding the photo's.

I spotted my car, well a little wishful thinking may be.

Hi Alex,
They are cool pics!  Imagine driving around these days in amongst so many FE's & FC's, how cool would that be.

How timely!

The NSW club received information from the Historic Houses Trust in the mail today about Bridging Sydney, a new exhibition at the Museum of Sydney celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the iconic bridge.

It sounds pretty interesting, including previously unseen bridge and tunnel proposals, plans and sketches.  There's also a scale model of the bridge being built out of Lego, scheduled to be completed on 27/01.  It might be something to include in your itinerary for NRMA Motorfest on Australia Day.

More information can be found at the Historic Houses Trust website.

Note: Museum of Sydney is not the Australian Museum on Park & College, but the site of the first Government House, on Bridge & Phillip Streets.

cheers
