Here are 2 cars that were new to me and from which I got some numbers for Ken.

The first is an FC that has been shedded in until fairly recently and is in original condition.

Those numbers are:

FC225 - 19009S
Trim 173 - 629
Paint 256 - 7770

Under the bonnet is this:

And the dealer's badge is inside beside the glove box lid.

The car looks like this:

The scond car is a beautiful, original FE whose owner has recently joined the ACT club. Here's the plate:

Those numbers are:

FE225-27552A
Trim 240-705
Paint 253-7472
RPO 256-7704
Chassis is 79697A
Engine No. is L373484

Here are some shots of it:

Both cars are in lovely condition inside and out and under the bonnet.

Cheers,
David

Wow great looking FE especially - do you have any more photos which show the roof colour a bit better?  Love to see some more shots of this car

Thanks Ken

Sorry Ken, that's the best I can do for the moment.  The shots were taken in full sunlight and the roof colour is not as obvious as in the flesh.  It is a soft pale green and quite similar to that on the technical 'colour your car' area of the site.  When I see the car in more favourable conditions/light I'll try again.  The owner and I are planning to set up the early advert shot involving FEs of the colours of his and mine.  Watch this space.....

I reckon the Royal Marine FE is the same colour as the one I posted on 28 August 2006 and stuffed up the numbers.

Sorry to get you all excited Ken:

Only one known in existence - Leon Green over Milford Green.  The 210 number is not right, but because I don't have any other cars in this colour scheme, I cant tell what it is supposed to be.

Scott will be able to confirm for you.

Ken

Couple of great looking cars - not only "shedded" - very well shedded.

The FE i went to look at thanks to martin is definately leon green over royal marine, but has a different trim numbers to this ACT car. This one has a lovely persian turquoise with dolphin green inserts. and has to be one of the cleanest interiors i have seen with all and i mean all plastic trim on the seats in exceptional nick.will try and post some pics on the other post of this car.

cheers
