bit hard to see it all, but looks like Vauxhall tail lights and an interesting crease down the beltline to make it a bit different.

Looks as ugly as sin to me, but hey, may be just the thing for someone else.

If its your cuppa tea, it is a bargain.  Think of all that hard work...it's all been done, for bugger all price.

I like the twin exhaust...not sure on the high back buckets in a convertible....and would have to change the HR steering wheel.

Love it or hate it....I'd really like to see this thing when someone has finished it off !

Wow what an interesting car!  Definately has FE front, you can see it in the bonnet, cowl widscreen etc.  But I reckon it has a cut and shut from a Vauxhall in the rear as I can't see a familiar line anywhere from the front doors back.
Otherwise it has had a lot of work done on the FE body shell to change it.
I've never seen it before though.  I love it as a genuine piece of 60's custom and still in fairly good order!

COOOOOL!!
I think it may be more FE than it 1st appears.
What can be seen of the floorpan looks FE.
I think the colour and pic quality might be hiding some tells.
Certainly would make a cool cruiser.
Can't say I have seen it in any early mags.
Wonder what the extent of the engeneering is underneath.

I wouldnt mind it, I think just by changing the front seats for a start would start to change the look of its shape, then a lighter colour with a pearl, flake or candy to bring out the sculptering on the side and make it look a bit bigger, then maybe chop the screen to make it look lower.
Then again it might have some cool history that you could restore it to.

I was tempted to bid but my wife would kill me, I asked a few questions, the bodywork was done in the late sixties, mechanicals were done later, tail lights are cresta (i should slap myself for asking that one) there isnt much rust but a few pinholes (whatever that means) the car isnt engineered but should pass.

I think it might look a little different in the flesh, i am sure those tail lights are only a couple of inches longer than fe ones, maybe they might look slightly bigger being closer to the camera lens.

I too asked the seller a few questions, here is some of what he said:

The body underneath has been boxed chassis wise.
The rear door area has been strengthened, HR front drum brake is fitted as well.
Was registered in the 70/s.
Yes it does run.
Have the missing bits.

Wish this car was closer to home, wouldn't mind a look up close.

It didn't reach reserve and therefore didn't sell.  Ebay was probably not a good place to try to sell such a one off car.
