Great shots Spinner I am a bit of a Railway nut ...Would you know the name or number of the  of the Locomotive that achieved the worlds longest non stop run for steam traction of 422 miles 7.59 chains between Parks and Broken Hill in August 8th 1989 ??????Thanks ......FC427......
As I lay rubber down the street I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide please dear god protect my ride

That'd be 4472 'Flying Scotsman', as Zulu said.

It is a British steam locomotive, brought out to Australia for Austeam88 http://www.flickr.com/photos/29565670@N06/sets/72157607233468219/

The late Wal Stuchbery mortgaged his house to cover the costs of hiring it, in a foreign country, for a year.  I formed part of its support crew, only when it was being worked on in Eveleigh.
