Hi Guys,

it's been a while since I've posted any thing on the site but I couldn't let today go past without
mentioning this   My FE STANDARD WAGON turned fifty years old today ;D, it was first registered in Albury NSW on the 20th Nov !957 . My wife thinks I'm Nuts celebrating a cars Birthday but only an enthusiast of our fine vehicles can understand this  ;)

Quite serious. See left.

In any case, isn't the birthday you celebrate the day you took your first breath, not the day you were 'made'? That would have been roughly 40 weeks prior ;)

Happy birthday GTA-189

cheers

Thanks Guys,
I hope I look as good when I turn 50 but not likely [still a few years away]. I took some photos of the old girl yesterday and would have loved to put them up on this post but I am not confident on how to up load them from my pc. Can this be done?

Regards Mick

A belated Happy Birthday to your wagon, Mick. I hope there's many happy miles in the years ahead. I'm looking forward to next year when my FE turns 50.
