Im after any info on specs such as tollerences clearences tourques and conrod and piston assembly by this i mean which side of the block does the oil sprays or rod numbers go. i am persuming that the notch in the top of the piston goes to the front of the engine. any help or copys of relevent pages of a manual will be muchly appreciated. Thanks

There's a fair bit of useful info here and here, but a workshop manual is really what you need.  What part of the world are you in?

cheers

The QLD club has a few members up around the Sunny coast, if you have a look at our website you will find some contact details, or if your down Ipswich way I am sure one of use will be able to give you the info you require.

Cheers Jim

PS The Sunny coast has an old Holden club not sure what the contact details are though.

Hey Brandt

Torque specs as per RET's links.

Notch on pistons to front of motor oil hole to camshaft.

The rest is straight forward.
