Hi Team,

Can anyone in the know tell me if this is the Warneford Design Manifold I have read about that is designed for SUs to clear the FC firewall?

The odds are in favour. The swept runners are a good indication. It is possible I suppose that it was designed pre FE, but I don’t know whether Humpys had more room. You need forward facing fuel bowls and velocity stacks also most likely, as discussed prior.

Thanks Clay,

I have forward facing bowls and velocity stacks so I trust that I will be able to run with my original plan of triples without molesting the firewall. I have requested some additional measurements so with soe luck I will be able to make a call latr today.  It also means I can hold off on the refurbishing the twin strombergs until I have some time to play with. The linkages need a bit of work and, based on the advice regarding progressive linkages, I will need to get venturi restrictors and new main jets as well.

I bit the bullet and purchased the Warneford and have it in the post.

The Warneford Manifold is sweeps in from 460mm end to end at the head to 405mm end to end at the carby mounts so only about 1 1/16" difference at each end. I trust this will provide the clearance required.

Time will tell.

Now to move onto the fuel delivery side of the house.
