Just noticed in my Hot Rod magazine that the Hot Rod Nationals are on the same time as our Nationals in Tassie, so i would say you need to book the boat early if you dont want to miss out on a spot.

Good evening All

After reading the above conversation I checked the website looking for Tassie Nationals Link on their website (see below) could not find it. I make the assumption once its active Bill & Judi will let us all know.

Cheers Jim

BOOKINGS FOR THE SPIRIT OF TASMANIA.

The "Spirit" are in the process of changing their group booking system from when we initially received our "quotation" over twelve months ago, so we have had to wait.

The system will be an online link to the Tassie Nationals section of their web page which they will have operational shortly "Our reservation system will be open for bookings for your requested dates in approx May 2013 and until then your request has been placed on file"

When the system comes on line shortly we will notify every one through this media of the process to log on.

In essence they will hold space for approximately one month either side of the nationals and guarantee space for approx ten days either side.
They only offer "best price" at the time for single bookings but I believe those clubs or groups that may want to book for 18 people or more will get a discounted rate, but don't hold me to that.
I will be advising them of approximate numbers after the entries for the Nationals close. (entry forms soon)

Is there any further info available on the Spirit of Tasmania?  Graeme.

We have to wait for the Tasie guys to put up the link, as they are working in the background with the booking people.
Cheers,
Graham
