TRAVEL BUDGET

Have you seen your boss to arrange your annual leave for 2012 ?
And have you started doing every bit of overtime you can ?

We don't want to scare anybody away from attending the Nationals
But as it is a huge time and financial commitment we will show some of the budgets the West Aussies have gone through to attend the 2010 Nats in Orange.

This is roughly what Cathy & I spend in time and money to attend the Nats.
We make a holiday of the whole event and try to discover new parts of Australia at each Nats we attend ( which explains the slight detour to Coober Pedy  :o  ::) )

This budget doesn't cover what we spent on accomodation/food/fuel etc during the four days of the Nationals. And doesn't include the money donated to my mechanics retirement fund before we even started the trip.

We tend to stay in different places from 3* motels to unusual B&Bs, and we usually pay for meals at each stop. So our trip isn't done at a "budget" rate
