Hi its been a while will give you an update

Removed all rust and painted the internal roof


Cleaned up the parcel shelf add some speaker holes, and painted in etch primer


With my heater solution. I have made a funnel to flow the air in to the top of the heater. Then altered the air flow input for the heater so they both could bolt togeter.  And had to move the vent open/close lever to the left some to allow for the heater. The heater body is cut up HR holden heater.




Using universal vintage air demister vents/ducts and home made braket welded on to hold the braket in place.

Hi Rob   Total understand the pain of finding the the thin walled sheet metal just when you think your done. By the time I had finished my floor it nearly killed me.. Was happy to see the end.     Keep up the great work

Hi all  happy new year.  Being working on upgrades to the wiper arms and pivots, trying to get rid of the slop for a smoother running wiper. First pulled them apart


Next was to lathe up some new bushes, two in each.
 

Removed the small arms and the ends of the loger arms


Replaced them with a bolt to cater for the ball joint ends


Finished product , I can now adjust the throw of the wiper by lengthening the small arms

Been welding holes up in the firewall, looking at a heater option and making a fuse block holder to go under the dash

Finishing off the dash for the altered gauge panel.

Welded in and cleaned up, happy with the result

Weber 34 adm accelerator mount bracket. Started with a lot of lines and measurements, making sure cable will not hit the air cleaner and come over rocker cover   



Drilled holes, folded on the lines and added some weld for extra strength

Accelerator pedal completed.  Started with a commodore pedal, and fabricated a bracket and mount plate, using the original bushes and spring.

Added a plate in the roof for the sun visor.

Formed a plate to match the roof line


Used a self tapper to hold it in place


Spot welded it in place


Used some sealer and rivet nuts to hold the center bar in place

Hi All, its been a long time .. Hope all are doing well. I'm still on the forum, and still love the posts.  Caught up with Brett_f today grabbed some gems..  Front spears and tail light surrounds.. Has got my FC blood flowing again, and wanting to do more on the car again.  So I have some pics and posts to come soon.

That's very sad news, He was such a great guy. He own a very nice FC wagon, and then his white sedan. I did get a chance to drive his wagon which was inspiring.

New ignition barrel location moved from the old dash panel, because of the new dash panel design.

Mate I know the pain of that only just finishing mine ...  I think most others FE FC members have just finished they sessions with their therapists on this one ...

Another little bit done today...

Repaired a couple of spots over the weekend. Both near the drivers side A Pillar.

(sorry light was not good)


Cut the rust out and put on some rust convert


Weld thru primer under new piece test fitting



Weld it in coat with primer


Another bad spot under the front guard

Make a new piece


Weld it in and coat with some primer
