when putting red , blue, black 6 in with 4 speed do you need to put the bigger hump in or does that stay

Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius

In my experience with an Aussie 4 speed, there is not enough room for the linkages.

Sorry, should explain what I mean, since I think from memory 3 speed all synchro and 4 speed u want to use have same housings I am assuming the tunnel in the last line would be ok but I am not sure if the snout at the back will clear, should but have not done it on a fc.

Now i'm confused. Are you moving or modifying the radiator or position to fit the red blue black motor, if not the motor is very close to the firewall and the bellhousing is cramped up against the hump near the clutch pedal side where the linkages need clearance. When welding in a new tunnel this is always a tight corner and I usually reposition the dimmer switch .
