Can you get a spare in with the VN tank  ??? ??? ......FC427.....
As I lay rubber down the street I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide please dear god protect my ride

fc427   the tank is hi  on one side if i get  spare time on week end i will take a photo with tank in place . I was toying with idea of getting rid of spare wheel door and putting a full bumper of a station wagon.  cheers fc2360

I made a Aluminium tank for my Ute and to get some decent volume it comes up in to where the spare wheel used to live bit of a pain with the spare in the back ......FC427.......

fc427 I have had work utes spares in back because of lpgas tank they are a pain but im using what ive got .Now to try and get this photo right

JB

Its all good fun, the hardest part is the limit of the seat travel rearwards especially if you are using bucket seats, so make sure you have them fitted to make you calculations, and that the column will be off centre.

My van was the same and you do get used to the off centre driving position.

Have a look at 365 days, may give you some ideas.
