I now have the pedal box thanks to mal, I was looking for some good hr rims but I have found I only need good centres, The wheel place tells me the outer has to be destroyed to remove the inner for chroming and new outers will need to be put on, they think the 13" outers may no longer be availiable but I should find out through the week. So now what I need is some hr rims to suit discs, (should have a hole drilled between the wheelnuts) doesnt matter if they have stuffed outers, just as long as the inner is good.

I picked up a stack of new centres about 3 years ago and they were still in production. I don't exactly know where they originated from, I think Western Australia?? They may not have had the original hole mentioned for the HR but I had a set of widies made up and run them on HR brakes with hub caps. I was under the impression that he centres were quite common but you couldn't buy the wide cases any more only stock sizes. These were ROH maybe a call to them may shed some light. Not genuine though, as requested, but do the job.

I think addos on the right track. A few years ago I bought some 13s new to suit a Torana ,for my FB. If I remember right they were ROH. Maybe If you can get onto the manufacturers and explain what you'r doing you can get some before they rivet ? them together. Brad

I have a new wheel here I bought from a trailer shop but I dont like the style of the centre, it kind of looks like a 13" hq wheel. The tyre shop told me today that they couldnt get 13" or step down 14"outers anymore but they may be able to use something like hyundai outers. Apparently hr outers cant be removed without destroying them. I might see if I can contact roh but I have a feeling they will look like the roh one I bought from the trailer shop.

Not quite sure what you want to achieve, are you after an original set of stockers to run, or are you after a set of wide chromies or the like?

I am after a set of skinny chrome rims that look like the older type, they will be run with no hubcaps and whitewalls on crossplys and be a 2nd set of alternative wheels to a set of radials and hubcaps, i may also use the fronts at the drags with a set of slicks on the back if i can find small slicks.
