If you look at the section called Tech Data on this forum you will find an area the deals with GMH Paint codes(253) and GMH Paint Numbers (7773) and it should put you on the right track. 7773 is Ascot Grey if you look at the chart but the 253 didn't show. Maybe someone else with a bit more knowledge can help with the code. Anyway I hope my little bit is a start to put you on the right track.

The 253 is the code for Duco Lacquer.
