I don't really know how this has happened but I have found the sports trophy at my place buried under a heap of stuff when we moved.
It is engraved with 8th Nats winners ACT but somehow never made it to Queensland & ended up here.
What can I say? embarrassing to say the least.

Maybe we should recycle the new trophy and make it into a "Most Embarrassing Moment at a Nationals" trophy or something to that effect - something that reminds us all about how the trophy came about.  It is a funny story and it would be good to continue that humour into the future nationals.  Kathy |

I have an idea for the new trophy, lets use it as a car games trophy, so that people have the chance to use there car in a controlled environment, and show others how good there driving skills are, and how hard a V8 can go compared to a stocky.( Just an idea for the South Australians)

Not sure about this idea, Scott. 35mph around the Southern Loop at Phillip Island in a stockie on old cross plies with no seat belts, felt pretty exciting from where I was sitting You'd have to travel at three times the speed in a modified to get the same experience, I reckon Cheers John |
