hey there

has anyone used a certain product to clean / renew their air-rides ?
would using todays chemicals be to harsh ?
or should i just try good old soapy water ?
or maybe use nothing at all ?

any thoughts ?

thanks

I have found that the old favorite Dissol is a great cleaner for tyres it has no silicone in it so no build up etc. I would wash them really well in a hot soapy mix let them dry totally and then wipe them over with a dry cloth. Then apply the dissol liberally all over the tyre and walk away and leave it to soak in  then buff them with a dry cloth again and then repeat as many times as needed you will use quite a bit but it is a good way too clean them back to a original black color rather than the modern shiny look like armorall.
Good luck
