This is whats called a Holden Jewel they were available as an accessory and shown in the accessory brochure from FJ to FC. Not a grille badge.

John,
You can mount them any where,personal choice, the two pins are for attaching  to the dash etc by drilling holes.Bit of bling for the car, or you could buy it and check out the fitting instructions lol.

I have mine on the radio grille, thats where i have seen a few placed. Others drill the dash to position them.
