bought some new heads last week flow 550 hp work done buy ben gatt should make the ute go a bit quicker

bonnet has been rubbed three times getting sick off the louvres all 110 of them im on the final rub then undercoat and colour finally got some spray putty on the passenger side quarter panel starting to see some progress cheers fatboy

Drivers side quarter done now Got some more guards today thanks minifcvan they should be a bit better then the ones i got blasted .Soda blast has just opened in ulladulla (45 mins from me so i might take the new guards and a couple of spare guards to them to see how they go cheers fatboy

Nice vanishing act Fat,
I find with the louvres and heat off the motor I dont use mine much, however down the freeway with more airflow, I usually crank the vent open.

I'm with you guys, I love drivin' with the cowl vent open. After the FC there hasn't been one produced with a cowl vent, so i think my car is pretty unique.

My mounting tabs on the plenum where rusted off so i fixed the problem Closed it for good.Dont worry ill be keeping the one in the van im doing up cheers fatboy

re:vents and louvers, i have an FB with a V8 with a louvered bonnet with the wide vent opening on the FB i can tell you i don't need a heater, something i'm going to try when i bought the bonnet it had a sheet of flat fibreglass blocking some of the louvers to the rear of the bonnet i couldn't figure out why and now i think i know
