The above photos are off the a pillar on the passenger side lucky it wasnt as bad as the other side only a couple more little bits of metal to weld in and the repair will be finished

ps just ordered a tailgate skin from craig vaine sheet metal $60.00 plus freight will take photos when it turns up

Fatboy, make sure you give us some feedback on the tailgate skin. I've pretty much given up on finding anything here in SA and the one on the FE Ute is trash.

time for a update just need some one to upload the photos.have finished the sill on the passenger side .installed the new cross members as well as a hoop to tie both crossmembers to one another crs hump used. turned out pretty good. repaired the rear floor pans .
installed a channeled chassis rail looks smick
bogged the floor to straighten every thing up
fabricated a new tank floor so that the vq stato fuel tank will fit (90litres ) just finishing a few sections around the tank
then a coat of etch primer and sound deadener and i can fit the diff back up and get it right way up again
will be looking forward to this day
