Went to a private track day at WSID (which will hopefully become an annual event) and took some pics, the following will be of interest to some here.

202 running triple 2" SU's with a claimed 220hp.

Ran consistant 13.3's

Rest of the pics are here.

Great photos shane!

Did you notice the extent of the mods to passenger side firewall to get those triple 2" SU's to fit.

I was looking at the photo of the FX fitted with a small block & notice his induction set up of Dual sidedraft webers. This is the setup I have been looking at, is a Inglese manifold adaptor that bolts to a 4 barrel manifold to accept the daul webers. VERY NICE.

13.3 is good enough to beat many V8 powered FC's.

I really dig this 1.

I thought about booking a spot, but it was a bit too pricey for me. Looks like a cool day though. Glad it didn't rain.
Thanks for the pics.

Hey Alex, cool pic, good to see charlies got that thing at the track were it looks more at home, wish he would run his nomad but he reckons its too hard to stop with the spindle mounts and no chute.

Alex
Your right about 13.30 been quicker that some v8 fc's. At the last Nostalgic drags there was a blown 350 fc & I think his best was mid 14's. 13.30 is bloody fast & it would shock more than a few who lined up against it.

I don't know, the owner was hardly the 'chatty' type!

I don't get it, you build a car, someone at an event shows an interest and mentions he has an FC, and that's it! No back and forth, no, "So, what's in yours?"... nothing!! Roll Eyes

Rant over.

I did, that must be a 2" recess there?

yeah srvlives, Ive crossed heaps of guys in the pits like that, must be nerves or top secret development on the red motor.
Finding out what too do with a red motor for street and strip was hard, everyone with a good idea of what to do is a silent bob and everyone who wants to give advice has no idea.
I hope my motor works out ok but I will be cheering if its in the 13's
