Hi All.
My old Cream & Green FC Wagon is for sale. My Bro' doesn't want it anymore & I would like to see someone with a love of FCs give it the home it deserves. I cannot convince my wife I need it
.
I found this car in a garage (In 2000), where it had recently had a restoration started. Motor had a recoed head & had been painted. Rebuilt gearbox. Before that, it had been in storage by the original owner since 1983. Still has that rego sticker.
Details are:
Body very good nick. Rear section, inc roof, quaters, upper & lower tailgate all repaired & resprayed. New rubbers in all rear windows. NOS tailgate was used. No rust in that section.
Front guards are starting to show signs of slight rust, but VERY repairable. All doors in excellent condition. DS rear has one small bubble of rust down the bottom, but no signs of bog or previous repairs.
Floorpan is in very good nick, but will need some touching up. Had a rares spares sill fitted.
Interior: is genuine original, in remarkable nick. Had all seams re-stiched. Rear compartment needs some work. Has a repo rubber floormat.
Engine is in very good cond. No smoke, but needs a tune. Dave has done nothing since he has had it. But only probably done 500 to 1000 miles. Gearbox is in spot on condition (One that I put in when I stuffed the last one.
Brakes are OK, but will need attention, as it has been sitting for quite awhile.
Probably needs new tyres.
It is registered for a couple more months.
It has the original Press button diamond Air Chief radio & antenna. Scratch plates (NOS when fitted), Anti-Glare mirror. Alloy rocker cover. GENUINE venetians.
This car is a bloody good buy.
$4,500.
Located in Hobart, Tasmania.
