Can anyone tell me if FB-EK Scuff Plates fit FE-FC bodies ?

I'm talking the metal plates that run along the bottom of the body where the doors close and hold down the carpet and body rubber.

Cheers

Mark

torquefc,
i think you better check on
that one as they all have the same
sill's and floor pan's,so i can't see
them being different.except on the fe
they are flat on the top surface other
than that they are the same.

Hi Guys.
Torque is right. They are all slightly different, but they all fit. The FE is flat, like you said Col. FC is slightly different from FB & EK have inserts in them. NOT on the Commercials or Standards though.

Thanks guys....the reason I asked, is I've foound a set of four for about $40 in good condition.   Rares sell them at over $100 each brand new, and I can't find any good FC plates at that price, so I may end up buying the EK plates instead.

Cheers

Mark. i would strongly advise you not to buy them if you want to fit them to an fe fc. below is a picture (or two) of fc scuff plates, and fb ek ones , as you can see they are quite different. 1. the holes dont line up 2.i believe that even if you drilled more holes, they still wouldnt sit  right.

regards
Darcy

ps: i hope this helps Wink
