tests have proven that the final words before a fatal urban car crash are "OH ****"

in a rural car crash they are " Hold my stubby and watch this for skill!"

My guess is:
Black to vehicle ground
Red to dash lights +ve
Blue to points (coil -ve)

Hey Torque

My Guess

Red - Dash lights
Black - from brass nut to ground

The two wires coming out of the grommet  -
one to coil -ve
one to accessories fuse +ve

Personaly I would go for the grey being -ve,
however not sure Huh

Don't know if you will damage it if wired in reverse
But ....  at least the gauge will light up Grin
