Hi all,

(using an air ride kit) my blinkers have suddenly turned to hazards!

no reflection of the kit quality however when i signal left or right all my blinkers flash.

I have not modified anything and they did work.

Im thinking it may be a faulty indicator swich unit.

comments, theories, guesses welcome...

Cheers

Ed,

I would replace the blinker unit under the dash first to isolate the problem before pulling your steering wheel off and delving in. Hopefully you have one lying around or in another car.

Ed i copped the same thing with mine when i first tried blinkers after installing the airide kit.
well at least we can all help each other out with these little hiccups with this kit. at least their little ones Wink

check ALL earths on the blinkers including dash indicator lights, mine turned out to be a faulty rear earth.
second then go into checking the switch itself.

it had me stuffed for a while, my left would work but when i wanted to turn right all blinkers would come on.

good luck

Ed also check that the globe values are the same as this can  cause problems.

ahh..

I have removed 1 bulb from the rear this may be the issue...

dash light should be OK, I have wired them into a single light only, this shouldnt affect the operation as it was working OK before.

hmm the problem may be the user not the wiring.. heh heh

will get a globe.

Cheers
