Hey Earlee,

I was in Brisvegas for work a couple of weeks ago, travelling along the motorway and what do I see in the distance? A bloody FC Crewman, that's what!!! We overtook you but I was in suit and tie mode so didn't think it was the done thing to hang out the window and shout my love for your car.

Its good to see this amazing creation has ended up in the right hands - someone who appreciates it!

Cheers,

Craig.

Don't worry, Earlee.
A VERY cool car indeed. This bloke wouldn't know a good car if it hit him. I can bet it took him at least half an hour to think up such an in depth observation. He wouldn't have had any grey matter left to manage to leave his name.

Hmmmm, imagine THAT bullbar cleaning something up Shocked

tests have proven that the final words before a fatal urban car crash are "OH ****"

in a rural car crash they are " Hold my stubby and watch this for skill!"

Inflammatory post deleted.

f-n-c, consider this your first and last warning.  Trolls don't last long around here.

Wow, that's cool.  Cool  Cool  Cool

I bet this is the kind of car where people look, look again, then just stare, open mouthed.

Earlee, you have my thumbs up.  Wink

I'm very interested to know what's powering it.

Congratulations on your purchase.

Aaaww
c’mon guys …. how about you appreciate it for what it is …    Grin  Grin

I obviously missed some of the posts regarding my crewman however controversy is part of life and it takes all types to make it.
For those interested it is a full size sedan with a full size ute body - powered by a trimatic 3.3 with airconditioning.

It was built for a purpose, which was and is to raise funds for under-privileged kiddies.   Cheesy Cheesy

Here is a pic of the ute in its heydey – and it will continue to be used as such.. Cool Cool

You need to load the pic into a picture editing program and adjust the size. I think irfanview is one of the more popular free programs.

Here's one I prepared earlier  Grin

Its not a trick shot - check the variety bash site for details  http://www.varietyqld.org/Bash/xxxxbash.htm

Thanks Alex for sorting this.  I didn't see what got posted, probably just as well it seems  Roll Eyes  Reported to Moderator 3 times in the space of 15 minutes, must be a new record.

Anyway, the oversize pic has been removed, and f-n-c has been banned permanently.  Can't see the point banning him for a week or month, since he only seems to fly in very occasionally and take a dump on this thread...

cheers

i'm not big on it personally - but i gotta say - it's a damn sight cooler than driving a $50k piece of GM plastic.

G'day Guys

Just a very late follow up to see if anyone knows if this FC Crewman is still around? I've read that 'oldgmh' bought it in 2005 but can't find any reference to it since. I think I might have even seen at a FE-FC Nats. Is it still doing the charity rally circuit?

Next June, I'm going to raise dust and dollars on the 2016 Super Endeavour Rally which goes via outback QLD to Alice Springs for the Finke Desert Race, Uluru, Lake Eyre and back via Birdsville. I would love to enter an FC Holden or failing that, go the other end and enter a VL (the newest model allowed under the 30 year rule).

Cheers, Tim
