Does anyone know if a HK 14" rim will take a FC/HR hubcap?

Mike,

Yes, but only if you use a self tapping screw, as proven by one of the NSW members Charlie Busittil.

Here is the self tapped hubcap mobile:

Cheers,

Craig.

PS: I think an 8 gauge self tapper is recommended. ;-)

Craig,

Intesting, any particular place it needs to go?  Is it basically screwed to the rim?  I cant see that detail in the photo.

Cheers

Mike,

Knowing Charlie its probably got 4 different rims on it!!

He put self tappers around the outer rim of the hubcap, not sure how good it would be for wheel balance though. But again, knowing Charlie he probably stole his daughters protractor and got the angles just right.

This was discussed fairly recently - http://tinyurl.com/adjqz

Cheers,

Craig.
