Am I right in assuming that the wheel stud pattern is the same from FE to HR?

and

What is the widest wheel that can be fitted to a FC with no mods?

Andrew, FE to HG are all the same stud pattern.

rim width on a stock car (not lowered either) would be limited to 6 inch with a normal profile tyre.  Any wider rim and the rear wheels will hit the inner lip of the mudguard on bumps and the front wheel will hit the guard lip on full lock
