Car & chrome looks good Mal, make sure the hubcaps are steel & not the stainless steel variety (s/steel are lighter in weight & will only require polishing)
Sounds like he may be a good chromer to send a bulk order to.

could,nt wait to open my xmas presents so I opened them tonight I,ll send the hubcaps to a signwriter to paint got my mats from obselete rubber still don,t know how to paint them the chrome has come up really well very happy for a change regards mal

Congrats, your mats look great, and so does your project I think that the flash is making them look redder than they would be in real life. Here's the one that my brother painted for Fast Eddie's wagon. The paint spatter was matched perfectly to an original mat and is probably a little finer in spatter size than yours.

They look brilliant in my opinion, even if they were a little heavy on the paint, it will dull with a bit of use and will look fantastic in the car.
