Quite a few VIC members attended the Shannons Spring Auction weekend preview prior to the Auction on Monday 5 September.

The Saturday was a fantastic Melbourne Spring day with a steady stream of the public taking advantage of the viewing and the free sausage sizzle provided by Shannons but cooked by the members or the FE FC Club providing an opportunity to earn some $$$ for next year's Nationals.

The Shannons Auction presented a vast array of vehicles and motoring memorabilia to entertain everyone.  To see the cars coming up in the Auction go to: http://www.shannons.com.au

Tony asked me to post some pics and pass on his thanks to all those members who worked for part or all of Saturday.  Lets hope Sunday is as good a day.

Cheers Kevin

Maybe Tony's role was "Chief Taster" for the quality control department?

Hi all,
Well l put my hand up for the roll of chief taster having many years of experience and the long range fuel tank to show.
On a serious note l would like to thank all the members of the Vic FE/FC club who helped out on the weekend with the BBQ at Shannon's pre auction. Our club was given a sizable donation which goes towards next years National at Phillip Island.
 Thanks again
