Fuel tank repairs

Can anyone recommend a good place for fuel tank repairs in Brisbane.

I've got a mate offering to weld mine up, but is there a way of coating the tank so it won't rust again?

try this website for a great tank sealer, after your repairs are done, it is a pretty good product if the directions are followed.

I've often thought about using one of these internal sealers but how do you stop your fuel pick-up from getting blocked in the process since its not possible to remove it from the tank prior to doing the job? Seems tricky...

Almost any radiator place can help, although I cant recommend a good one in Bris.

I haev mine repaired, cost me $15 and works like a treat.  If only the "reco" fuel sender sealed as well

yep, radiator places are the go.

and a fuel tank shouldn't rust on the inside at all.

just coat the weld with some killrust primer and a coat of gloss oil based paint and it'll never rust again.

I think you'll find Megs is happy now that stuff has been moved. Nothing will stop our collection of old Holdens now, nothing.
