Hey Guy's
I was just pondering over these few questions,
Can anyone answer them.... Huh

How many FE Sedan's (Special,Business and Standard) in each club

On the road?

Under restoration?

How many FE Station Sedans(Special) + (Standard) in each club?

On the road ?

Under restoration?

You get the idea, Roll Eyes Roll Eyes same applies to FC's
Can anyone let us know, just club car's will do...for now
Thanks
Nick

Nick the Vic club has 120 odd members (some odder than others Grin) and of those only a handful are members without cars whilst quite a number have more than 1 car - we have never done a thorough count but I would estimate close to 200 cars on the road, under restoration or waiting resto.  This does not include wrecks which are past resto.  One member has 20 cars alone which are all wrecks along with his finished car, 1 under resto and 3 awaiting work at a future time.

I would imagine NSW not far behind and WA, SA , Qld & ACT making another 200 between them.

That makes a very rough estimate of 600 vehicles.

Interesting post Ken, and a good estimation of whats out there. Like the Vic club, it seems every second NSW Clubbie has now got more than one FE/FC. I think the most with one member is about 7 though - 20 cars UNREAL!!

Out of the 600, how come we only see 70 or 80 at the Nats? Distance maybe? Cost?

Imagine 600 FE/FC Holdens in one place  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Nick, Craig, Ken,

It might be an idea for the Registrars and or Membership Officers of each club to answer with the numbers.  That way, there'll be about ten or so answers which we can add up at the end (you don't get to go to recess until you get these sums correct Wink  ).

Agree.  I can't see tallying individual replies being very (a) accurate or (b) much fun.

The attached page was part of the 2004 Year Book for the NSW Club.  It shows the growth in the club since the previous year, and some basic statistics about vehicles by model, class (ie stock/modified) and status (road-going/project).

Due to rules in place at the time, these figures pertain to the "Club Car" of the member (ie it recognises only one nominated vehicle for each member).  This rule no longer applies, so I'm buggered if I know how I'm going to do this when the 2005 Year Book is due....

Enjoy.

cheers

What about the country car clubs.
Although our FC is curently on full rego I concider the car to be associated with the NSW FE FC car Club. The car  proudly displays the NSW FE FC grill badge. I am also a member of the Cootamundra Antuque car club and our FC is regually used on that clubs events and is concidered one of their regular active cars.  Now we also have a EH with Cootas club plates and I associate the EH as a Coota car club car. There are quite a few FEs & Fcs in country car clubs as I was happy to see at Cootamundra's Wattle Rally the other week. So how do we find out haw many FEs & FCs are out there........A Big Ask....But I would love to know also............Come to think of it wouldnt we all.
