There was one for sale at the Sandown (VIC) swap last Sunday, but it had FJ written on it.  He also had lots of other FJ bits for sale, so I assumed he knew what they were all off.

Is the FJ external sun visor the same as the FC one?

I have the visor, but no end brackets... though a board member has offered the loan of a set he has to copy.

Got any pics of the visor SRVLIVES?
I am in the same boat, but don't know what type of visor it is. I was thinking of getting a couple of pieces of stainless folded up to suit.

hey Glenn, will take some pics of the visor, and the end brackets that Brett (Spinner) loaned me tomorrow and post them up. The brackets are stainless, I'll look into getting possibly a dozen sets made up over the next few days. If anyone's after a set let me know.

Spinner's end brackets

Wondering whether the ones I have made up need to be folded like these?

Yes.
You need them to be made out of VERY rigid stainless steel, folded just like that. Thet are what secures them to the windscreen pillars on the side. Otherwise, when you are hurtling along at 110mph, they will peel off from the sides, do a nasty bird wing type of fold & tear a hole in the roof where it is screwed in................Worst case scenario there. Shocked

Mine's a little different, the bolts at the ends are spaced 3 inches apart though. Does this match the Nasco one?

I thought the FB/EK visor had 2 roof brackets - unless its an after market single bracket version -  but the shape also seems to be different - a bit more of a point in the centre front edge for FB/EK, but the roof bracket looks FB/EK

But then I have been known to be wrong before

SRV, I have found 1 bracket which you are welcome to. If I find another during my garage move, you can have that too, if you still want some. Leave a PM. Colin.

hey Colin, just picked up a set from Townsville of all places!

Was a complete visor, but was in poor condition, so as I only want the brackets and didn't want to freight the whole lot down, the ebay seller will be relisting the visor.

If you do find the second one, send a PM to Spinner, I have a pair from him, which I will now be returning, but I know he was after some more.

cheers,
Shane

I sure am,  one of the sunvisors that I bought off Colin did not have the end brackets (was advertised and sold by Colin like that), so I would be interested.

Cheers
