G'day all ,
                    Just a quickie ( im mechanically challenged) can anyone tell me what the wire is for on this 4 speed box? it is linked up to one of the selector thingies.

Craig the reverse linkage is on the other side with the switch, this wire seems to come off third or fourth  linkage

From memory it is for emission control on HZ Holdens and VB Commodores. Wink Just unplug the wire and leave the switch there.
