If your using a HR converted hadfield crossmember you do, but castlemaine rod shop will supply them if you wish.

I would find a different cross member if it is the front mounted rack if I were you... Done it once, not again!

G'day mate
im starting to plan out my next project, an fc ute with a stock V8. im just wondering what the regulations are for such a conversion. Now i know that ill be using a HR fromt end, with Commodore disc's and a upgraded diff. I was wondering if there are any other areas that i may have to look into for this noble undertaking.
Cheers mate!

Depends on your engineer as to what is required, but also allow for collapsible steering column, dual circuit brakes, chassis kit, 2 speed wipers and a demister.
