im in the market for a brake booster for an EH with all round drum brakes, and a friend tipped me off to look for VH 44 brake booster, not a VH 40 that suits something with front end discs. just wondering how to visually differ the two boosters apart, and any other ways to distinguish what they are Huh

thanks

size seems to be the main difference. Check photos at the bottom of this thread:

Hydroboost (03  9390 4811) In Victoria sell a Fully reconditioned and galvanised VH44 for about $185 outright.   They do postal orders and I recommend their service without hesitation.

Check this site for threads on running a booster on a four wheel drum car.  A lot of people seem to think that it has more disadvantages than advantages.

Cheers

This thread shows a few opinionshttp://www.fefcholden.org.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=howto;action=display;num=1114150705;start=0.  Can somone let me know who you just type here, instead of the whole url showing?

It depends what you are looking to do in the future with your car?

If you have any questions related specifically to EHs feel free to send me a PM (click on my username and send me a private message) or email me: tezza_tough@hotmail.com

Cheers
