fuel tank question

Hi all,

I have been told that fuel tanks from FE through to EK sedans are all the same, is this true?

No not true the filler neck on FB and EK is too long for FC and sticks out too far.  The FB EK tank will fit in an FC though so if you put an FC neck on it would be right

Thanks Ken, any idea what the dimensions of the filler neck are so I can check mine is definately FE FC?
